Bad weather program

Tips for excursions and alternative activities in the event of bad weather in Val Pusteria.

Sunny, blue sky and the view of the impressive peaks of the Dolomites. This is what we expect from a holiday in Sesto. But what if the weather one day is not quite as expected?

We’ve put together some suggestions for your getaway!

Discover culture, city and quaint villages

City trip: Why not go on an excursion? Bruneck, the only city of Val Pusteria, is only a stone’s throw away from Sesto. Also, the sunny town of Lienz, located in East Tyrol is not far from Sesto.

Otherwise you can also experience some “city feeling” in the village center of San Candido. Inviting cafes entice visitors with “Aperitivo” and there are treasures for everyone in the local artisanal shops.

Water fun for young and old

Wellness or Acquafun? You will find peace and relaxation at the termesana wellness area Bad Moos, it’s only a few minutes walk from the Schuischta Apartments. For stays of 7 nights or more, we will give you a free entry to the spa area of the Bad Moos (*this offer depends on the actual Covid-19 regulations).

If you are looking for more action, you should not miss a visit to the alpine adventure pool, Acquafun in San Candido. They have a water slide, current channel and whirlpool.
